Inclusive Science Teaching

TISSx-CF
Enrollment in this course is by invitation only

About This Course

Scientists and philosophers have often wondered about the nature of science? What makes scientific knowledge so robust? What are the processes involved in acquiring and validating scientific knowledge? What does it mean to 'think scientifically'? Can we teach children to be curious and think scientifically? NEP 2020 and draft NCFSE 2023 recommend that students should not only develop a sound understanding of scientific concepts but should also inculcate understanding about the nature of science. The course encourages teachers to think and build perspective about science along with performing experimentation and toy making in an inclusive classroom setting.
