These Science Education resources will provide you with understanding, skills and strategies to teach Science. They will help you to think deeply about the nature of science and its implications for science education, the importance of experimentation and argumentation in science education, findings from educational psychology and its relevance to science pedagogy, issues around inclusivity, particularly gender bias which is common in the context of science education and some new pedagogic techniques such as the use of ICT in science education. We will also discuss the aims of science education, i.e. what do we want to achieve at the end. Hope this broad perspective on science education will help you to reflect on your teaching practices and change some of them if necessary.
